Xiamen, May 23, 2024-The Saudi Export Development Authority and Alibaba.com made a strategic partnership. Alibaba.com is the world's leading B2B e-commerce platform. This memorandum of understanding is signed at the China-GCC Forum for Industries and Investment and witnessed by Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, which aims to boost the global sale of Saudi products.
The memorandum aims to increase the visibility of Saudi goods on Alibaba.com and to help them reach more international customers. It also plans to make it easier for global buyers to find and purchase Saudi products, thanks to a new dedicated section on Alibaba.com for Saudi businesses.
Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, representing the Saudi delegation, highlighted the importance of this collaboration as a sign of strong business relations between Gulf countries and China.
By joining forces with Alibaba.com, the Saudi Export Development Authority is ready to help Saudi exporters expand their markets, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which include increasing non-oil exports and diversifying the economy."
