Only if our verification partner fails to verify your company phone number from their database, will they ask for phone verification materials. To verify phone number you may provide one of the following:
A. Phone bill under company name
B. Phone bill under name of company owners or director-level position or above
C. Company owned website with complete company name and phone number listed on it
D. Notary letter using verification partner specified template to get signed by local notary public(template will be provided in the email by verification partner or your alibaba representative)
To pass, verification call must be done to reconfirm information in the verification application submitted and as well as confirm if your company is in good operating status.
Auditors can only use verified phone number for verification call, which is verified from database, phone bill, website and etc.
Verification call will be made after our third-party verification partner is done company authentication check with the government.
When an email is received from our third-party verification partner about verification call schedule, please reply with a preferred time to call your company. You may also get in touch with your Alibaba contact person and provide your preferred schedule for verification call.

A. Not yet: ask your Alibaba contact person to do the changes for you
B. Has been assigned: information changes cannot be made in the application form
If information is incorrectly verified by our third-party verification partner, we will check with them about the changes If the incorrect or different information is submitted, $80 will be charged to reprocess verification.
Possible reasons for the delay of the verification:
A. Due to the difficulty of reaching the local government in several countries to check business registration which sometimes will take several days.
B. Documents not provided on time
C. Non-English documents translation
D. Applicant is always not available for verification call
Your account will be activated and you can enjoy Alibaba Gold member service within 24 hours after passing verification.
Possible reasons why verification failed are the following:
A. Filled in incorrect company name in application submitted
B. Applicant in application submitted is no longer connected with the company or needs to be changed
C. Unable to provide required documents on or before the deadline
D. Failed to reach applicant during verification calls made within five business days after business registration is confirmed
