Stainless Steel in Industrial LCD Applications: Stainless steel enclosures provide superior protection against corrosion, moisture, chemicals, and physical impact compared to standard aluminum or plastic housings. The two most common grades are 304 (18% chromium, 8% nickel) and 316 (16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum). The addition of molybdenum in 316 grade significantly enhances corrosion resistance, particularly in marine, chemical processing, and food & beverage environments where chloride exposure is common.
CE Certification for Electronic Equipment: CE marking is a mandatory conformity requirement for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA). For industrial LCD modules and panel PCs, CE certification demonstrates compliance with EU safety, health, and environmental protection directives including EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), LVD (Low Voltage Directive), and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
